Borsa Italiana holds the line

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari remains stagnant, while the major European markets trend higher. Meanwhile, on Wall Street the S&P-500 remains just above the no-change mark.

EUR / USD continues the session just below the flatline, slipping -0.3%. Gold is slightly up at 2,405 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil plunges to 76.55 dollars per barrel amid heavy sell-offs, losing -2.36%.

The Spread jumps to +134 basis points, an increase of 4 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.75%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt secures a tidy +0.81% gain, a sluggish day for London, which drops -0.38%, and Paris trades with a small loss of -0.31%.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB is essentially stable, closing at 34,638 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share (Milan) hovers around previous levels, closing at 36,882 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is practically unchanged (-0.16%); similarly, the FTSE Italia Star holds the line (-0.14%).

Mediobanca (+1.66%), Saipem (+1.26%), Prysmian (+1.25%) and Interpump Group (+0.99%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Telecom Italia has the worst performance, closing -2.88% down.

Stellantis plunges -2.32%.

Amplifon declines by a notable -1.95%.

Stmicroelectronics is struggling, -1.84% down.

Mondadori (+2.54%), Banca Generali (+2.24%), Maire (+1.43%) and Webuild (+1.26%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

SOL has the worst performance, closing -2.47% down.

MFE A suffers losses of 2.17%.

Investors hurry to sell as MFE B declines -2.16%.

Brembo plunges -2.02% on intense selling.
