Borsa Italiana holds the line

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari remains stagnant, while the major European markets trend higher. A positive result for the US bourse, where the S&P-500 boasts a +0.33% rise.

EUR / USD is essentially stable, finishing at 1.058. Gold is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 2,633.4 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil shows a strong decline (-1.36%) as it touches 67.37 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is firmly down, shedding -7 basis points to settle at +108 BPs, with the Italian 10-year BTP yield at +3.18%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt essentially treads water (+0.13%), London drifts -0.33% lower, and Paris attracts bids with a +1.21% rise.

The Milan stock exchange takes a breather, with the FTSE MIB trading at 34,684 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share (Milan) hovers around previous levels, trading at 36,900 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds the line (+0.16%); the FTSE Italia Star gains marginally (+0.52%).

Moncler (+5.12%), Campari (+2.98%), Ferrari (+1.94%) and Finecobank (+1.73%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Bper sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -2.80% lower.

Investors are selling as Tenaris records a -2.34% fall.

Saipem totters along with a modest -1.46% decline.

A sluggish day for DiaSorin, which drops -1.29%.

Digital Value (+6.37%), Safilo (+3.41%), Italmobiliare (+3.37%) and Ariston Holding (+3.18%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

D'Amico reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -3.00% down.

Mondadori shows a negative session -1.82% down.

Banca Ifis trades with a small loss of -1.13%.

Tottering BFF Bank dips -0.99%.
