EUR / USD trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.36% so far. Gold is essentially stable at 2,401.9 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil loses a lot of ground, retracing by -1.2% to trade at 77.46 dollars per barrel.
The Spread trades slightly higher, adding 2 basis points to reach +132 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10-year yield at +3.75%.
Among the European indices, Frankfurt performs modestly, showing a moderate +0.65% rise, London contracts moderately by -0.53%, and Paris is subdued, shedding -0.45%.
The Milanese stock market is moving sideways, with the FTSE MIB registering a -0.13% change; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading on a dull note, at 36,816 points, around the previous day's levels.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds the line (-0.2%); the FTSE Italia Star is below the flatline, slipping -0.21%.
Among Italy's best performing large-caps, resilient Mediobanca registers a small increase of 1.41%.
Prysmian advances +1.02%.
Interpump Group edges higher, showing an increase of 0.85%.
A positive result for Terna, which inches up +0.72%.
Telecom Italia has the worst performance, with a -3.01% down.
Stellantis suffers losses of 2.20%.
Investors hurry to sell as Stmicroelectronics declines -1.97%.
Pirelli & C plunges -1.8% on intense selling.
Banca Generali (+2.24%), Mondadori (+1.76%), Caltagirone (+1.43%) and Maire (+1.12%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.
SOL reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.60% down.
Investors are selling as MFE B records a -1.93% fall.
Brembo shows a negative session -1.62% down.
