Borsa Italiana holds the line

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari remains stagnant, while the major European markets trend higher.

EUR / USD is essentially stable, finishing at 1.047. Gold is trading at previous levels, with a variation of +0.13%. A slightly better session for Light Sweet Crude Oil, as it advances to 70.17 dollars per barrel.

The Spread touches +111 basis points, a 4 BPs increase over its previous level, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.32%.

Among the European indices, resilient Frankfurt registers a small increase of 0.42%, London reports no significant price changes in the absence of fresh cues, and stagnant Paris trades to a near stalemate.

The Milan stock exchange takes a breather, with the FTSE MIB trading at 34,914 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share bounces around the flatline, trading at 37,154 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is trading just above the flatline (+0.35%); the FTSE Italia Star holds previous levels (+0.2%).

Iveco (+2.47%), Ferrari (+1.11%), Interpump Group (+0.96%) and Banca Mediolanum (+0.87%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Bper has the worst performance, with a -1.76% down.

Amplifon is subdued, shedding -1.37%.

Moncler falls just below its previous value.

Brunello Cucinelli is sluggish, declining marginally (-0.75%).

Technoprobe (+1.84%), OVS (+1.74%), MFE B (+1.68%) and Ferretti (+1.56%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Digital Value sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -12.96% lower.

Ferragamo is modestly down, shedding -1.11%.

GVS drifts -0.74% lower.

Safilo totters along with a modest -0.63% decline.
