Borsa Italiana heads Euro-pack in bullish session

News Image (Teleborsa) - Fresh buying puts Piazza Affari in pole position, while Europe is also up. On Wall Street, the S&P-500 hovers around the flatline.

EUR / USD climbs a tad to 1.1. Gold jumps +1.53% in an upbeat session. Light Sweet Crude Oil shows a strong decline (-1.7%) as it touches 76.83 dollars per barrel.

The Spread jumps to +138 basis points, an increase of 6 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.59%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt looks composed with modest growth of +0.6%, London drifts -0.44% lower, and Paris trades firm at +0.14%.

On the Milan exchange, the FTSE MIB gains +2.01% amid a flurry of buy orders, continuing its run after five consecutive rises, which began last Friday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share surges, trading at 35,108 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap climbs +0.95%; on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star trades positive (+1.15%).

Mediobanca (+4.05%), Unicredit (+3.62%), Unipol (+3.55%) and Stmicroelectronics (+3.51%) among the top performers in Milan.

Webuild (+3.11%), Carel Industries (+2.89%), Credem (+2.81%) and Sesa (+2.75%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

SOL reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.72% down.

Technogym suffers losses of 1.83%.

De'Longhi totters along with a modest -0.96% decline.

A sluggish day for Pharmanutra, which drops -0.82%.
