Borsa Italiana heads Euro-pack in bullish session

EUR / USD holds its position at 1.051. Gold holds its position at 2,646 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil shows a timid gain of +0.27%.

The Spread (the difference between the Italian BTP and German Bund yields) drops to +115 basis points, down -4 BPs from its previous level, with the Italy 10-year BTP yield at +3.25%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt's +0.98% surge cheers investors, London drifts -0.25% lower, and a positive result for Paris, which inches up +0.46%.

The Milanese stock exchange looks bullish, with the FTSE MIB advancing to 34,182 points, continuing its run after five consecutive rises, which began last Thursday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share sees an increase of +1.03%.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap climbs +0.84%, as the FTSE Italia Star trades positive (+1.05%).

Campari (+3.84%), MPS Bank (+3.09%), Saipem (+2.32%) and Banca Popolare Sondrio (+2.28%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

DiaSorin reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -0.58% down.

Digital Value (+12.60%), Tinexta (+6.42%), GVS (+5.69%) and Maire (+5.30%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Buzzi sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.92% lower.

Philogen totters along with a modest -1.05% decline.

A sluggish day for Cembre, which drops -0.73%.

Acea trades with a small loss of -0.67%.
