Borsa Italiana heads Euro-pack in bullish session

News Image (Teleborsa) - Fresh buying puts Piazza Affari in pole position, while Europe is also up.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.099. Gold advances with a fractional gain of +0.34%. Light Sweet Crude Oil is firmly in the red as it tumbles -2.46% to trade at 76.24 dollars per barrel.

The Spread charges ahead, rising as much as 8 basis points to trade at +140 BPs, while the Italy 10-year BTP yield is at +3.6%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 0.65%, tottering London dips -0.39%, and Paris makes fairly pedestrian progress (+0.27%).

A day of solid gains in Piazza Affari, with the FTSE MIB rising +2.16%, continuing its bullish run which began last Friday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share powers ahead to trade at 35,170 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is up +1.13%, as the FTSE Italia Star climbs +1.34%.

Stmicroelectronics (+3.64%), Ferrari (+3.37%), Unicredit (+3.35%) and Mediobanca (+3.34%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

BFF Bank (+3.52%), Carel Industries (+3.25%), LU-VE Group (+2.69%) and Webuild (+2.68%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Technogym reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.51% down.

Digital Value is definitely weaker with a -0.79% decrease.

Juventus slips just under the flatline with a -0.73% decrease.

Industrie De Nora contracts moderately by -0.6%.
