Borsa Italiana heads Euro-pack in bullish session

News Image (Teleborsa) - Fresh buying puts Piazza Affari in pole position, while Europe is also up.

There is no significant change for EUR / USD which, at 1.072, is traded around previous levels. Gold trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.35% so far. Caution prevails in the oil market, with Light Sweet Crude Oil registering a slight decline of -0.25%.

The Spread (the difference between the Italian BTP and German Bund yields) drops to +146 basis points, down -6 BPs from its previous level, with the Italy 10-year BTP yield at +3.87%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.37%, London is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +0.4%, and Paris lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 0.52%.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB rises +1.25%, to 33,318 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share sees an increase of +1.18%.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap inches up +0.65%; on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star is trading just above the flatline (+0.34%).

Leonardo (+3.07%), Unicredit (+2.96%), Saipem (+2.53%) and Intesa Sanpaolo (+2.35%) among the top performers in Milan.

Moncler sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -3.08% lower.

A sluggish day for Pirelli & C, which drops -1.31%.

Amplifon trades with a small loss of -0.73%.

Maire (+3.38%), Technogym (+2.77%), OVS (+2.49%) and GVS (+2.12%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Pharmanutra has the worst performance, with a -1.51% down.

Tottering Philogen dips -0.75%.

Ferretti is definitely weaker with a -0.51% decrease.
