All European markets slightly lower

News Image (Teleborsa) - Milan flags in the wake of Europe's major bourses. Meanwhile in the US market the S&P-500 fluctuates around the flatline.

EUR / USD trades fractionally lower in this session, shedding -0.59% so far. Gold advances with a fractional gain of +0.61%. Light Sweet Crude Oil rises sharply, gaining +2.51%.

The Spread climbs again, settling at +136 basis points, up 5 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +4.02%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt slips just under the flatline with a -0.34% decrease, London contracts moderately by -0.2%, and Paris plunges -1.35%.

The Milanese stock market has a weak session, with the FTSE MIB closing -0.34% down; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share closes on a downbeat note, at 36,771 points, which is just shy of the previous session's levels.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap closes sideways (+0.1%); the FTSE Italia Star finishes just below the flatline (-0.3%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Hera records a fairly pedestrian increase of +1.36%.

Iveco is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +1.31%.

Leonardo lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 0.95%.

Italgas makes fairly pedestrian progress (+0.85%).

Telecom Italia reports the heaviest losses, ending the session -2.58% down.

Nexi declines by a notable -2.55%.

Brunello Cucinelli is struggling, -2.49% down.

Moncler suffers losses of 1.85%.

GVS (+4.14%), Italmobiliare (+3.37%), Digital Value (+3.06%) and Mondadori (+2.65%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

MutuiOnline sees the heaviest sell-offs, finishing trade -3.31% lower.

Investors hurry to sell as Piaggio declines -3.09%.

Ferragamo plunges -1.55% on intense selling.

Pharmanutra is subdued, shedding -1.46%.
