A grim day for European equity. Milan in the red

There is no significant change for EUR / USD which, at 1.091, is traded around previous levels. Gold is up +0.9% at 2,433.1 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil is just below the flatline, with a negative variation of -0.4%.
The Spread slips to +130 basis points, down -2 BPs, while the Italy 10Y BTP yield stands at +3.75%.
Among the European markets, Frankfurt shows a negative session -0.84% down, troubled London falls -0.85%, and Paris is down, with a net loss of 1.19%.
Piazza Affari closes fractionally lower as the FTSE MIB sheds -0.59%, interrupting a run of three consecutive rises, which began last Wednesday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share closes on a downbeat note, at 36,631 points, which is just shy of the previous session's levels.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap descends -0.83%; similarly, the FTSE Italia Star ends negative (-0.82%).
Saipem (+2.08%), Tenaris (+1.36%), Leonardo (+1.31%) and Finecobank (+0.66%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.
Brunello Cucinelli reports the heaviest losses, ending the session -4.25% down.
Moncler is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 2.37%.
DiaSorin trades negative, losing -1.87%.
Prysmian plunges -1.85%.
Danieli & C (+2.71%), Philogen (+1.95%), Cementir (+1.39%) and Piovan (+1.23%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.
Ferragamo has the worst performance, closing -6.78% down.
Carel Industries collapses (-4.15%).
Alerion Clean Power declines by a notable -2.83%.
Buzzi is struggling, -2.54% down.
