H1 net profit 31.3 mln eur vs 52.1 mln (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milan, 18 Sep - The Italian fashion group Ermenegildo Zegna said that in the first half of 2024 revenue rose 6% to 960.1 million euros. At constant currency rates, the top line rose by 8% while organic revenue dropped by 2.7%.

The gross profit margin widened to 66.4% from 64.2% a year earlier.

Adjusted EBIT dropped to 80.9 million euros from 119.9 million euros.

The net profit slipped to 31.3 million euros from 52.1 million.

'The first half of 2024 was marked by important investments in all three of our brands to further strengthen and foster ongoing value creation for each of them," said the chairman and CEO, Ermenegildo 'Gildo' Zegna.
