Signs 10-year contract (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - New York, 11 Jun - Warner Bros.

Discovery said it had reached a deal with the French Tennis Federation to add the French Open, or Roland-Garros, to its portfolio of premium sports rights in the US beginning in 2025.

In a statement the company said it had signed a 10-year contract allowing its TNT Sports division to be the new exclusive US broadcaster of the event.

The contract is worth an average of about 65 million dollars per year, CNBC reported, citing a person familiar with the matter.

"This new expansive deal - building on Eurosport's 35-year relationship with Roland-Garros - will make Warner Bros.

Discovery the largest global broadcast partner to Roland-Garros," it said.
