Outages sparked disruptions in businesses worldwide (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - New York, 19 Jul - US stock exchanges will open regularly today following a massive IT outage that triggered unprecedented disruptions in businesses across the world.

The outages, caused by an update patch from cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, sparked systems blackouts across a range of users and businesses operating Microsoft systems, including issues at the London stock market.

'NYSE markets are fully operational and we expect a normal open this morning,' a spokesperson for the exchange told CNBC.
