Below expectations on monthly basis (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - New York, 13 Aug - US producer prices rose 0.1%, on an adjusted basis, month on month in July, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.

On an unadjusted basis, prices rose 2.2% for the 12 months ended in July, it said.

Expectations were for a 0.2% increase on the month and a 2.3% rise on the year.
