US car dealers hit by CDK cyber attack for second day

CDK is investigating a cyber incident (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - New York, 21 Jun - An ongoing cyber attack at retail technology and software provider CDK has disrupted IT operations at car dealers across the United States for a second consecutive day, the affected companies said.

Some US car dealers began reporting problems using CDK's software yesterday and the company briefly shut down all its systems, saying it was investigating a cyber incident.

CDK's main product serves nearly every element of car retailers' daily business.

CDK was acquired by investment firm Brookfield Business Partners in 2022 for more than 6 billion dollars, taking the software provider private.
