Succeeds Mark Liu in chairman position (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Taipei , 04 Jun - Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) said it board has appointed CC Wei as chairman and CEO.

Wei, who was already CEO, will take over the position of chairman from Mark Liu, who announced he was retiring last year. He is the first person in the company to hold both the chair and CEO position in years.
