Effective Sept 16 (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - London, 13 Aug - The UK food and beverage ingredient supplier Tate & Lyle said that it has appointed Sarah Kuijlaars as chief financial officer, and to the board of Tate & Lyle, effective September 16.

She previously served as CFO of De Beers Group and Arcadis. Prior to that, Kuijlaars was deputy CFO at Rolls-Royce Holdings and held a number of senior finance leadership roles during a 25-year career at Shell. She is currently a non-executive director of Inchcape.

Kuijlaars succeeds Dawn Allen who, as announced on April 24, is leaving Tate & Lyle to take up the position of CFO of Haleon. Allen will step down as CFO and from Tate & Lyle's board on September 15 and will remain with the company until late October to ensure a smooth transition.
