Will join in H2 (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - London, 13 Jun - The UK wealth management firm St James's Place (SJP) said it appointed Caroline Waddington to the board of directors as chief financial officer.

Waddington will succeed Craig Gentle, who will be retiring from the business. She will join SJP in the second half of the year, at which point Gentle will step down as a director but remain with the business for a short period to facilitate an orderly handover.

Gentle has been with SJP since 2016, serving as its CFO since January 1, 2018.

Waddington joins SFP from UBS where she was CFO for the group's UK Credit Suisse entities, as well as chief operating officer for Credit Suisse International.
