Q2 net sales 10.745 bln eur, up 7.8% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Paris, 25 Jul - The French pharmaceutical group Sanofi said that in the second quarter reported earnings per share fell 22.6% to 0.89 euros and business EPS fell 0.6% to 1.73 euros. At constant exchange rates, business EPS rose 4.0%.

Net sales totalled 10.745 billion euros, up a reported 7.8% and grew 10.2% at constant exchange rates. Business operating income grew 3.2% to 2.813 billion euros. Sanofi now expects 2024 business EPS to be stable at constant exchange, an upgrade from a low single-digit percentage decrease previously. Applying the average July 2024 exchange rates, the currency impact on 2024 business EPS is a negative 5.5-6.5%.
