H1 adj net income 1.4 bln eur vs 2.4 bln (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Berlin, 14 Aug - The German utility RWE said that in the first half it posted adjusted EBITDA of 2.9 billion euros compared with 4.1 billion the year earlier and adjusted net income of 1.4 billion against 2.4 billion.

RWE noted that it recorded a significant increase in earnings in the Offshore Wind and Onshore Wind/Solar segments. But, group earnings were down on the previous year due to lower earnings in the Flexible Generation and Supply & Trading segments.

For the full year, RWE maintained its guidance for adjusted EBITDA within a range of 5.2-5.8 billion euros and for adjusted net income of 1.9-2.4 billion. It expect results to come in at the lower end of the forecast ranges.

The dividend for the current fiscal year is expected to be raised to 1.10 euros per share, it added.
