Keeps key rate at 16.00%/yr (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Moscow , 07 Jun - The Bank of Russia said its board of directors in a meeting today decided to keep the key rate at 16.00% per year, but held up the prospect it could increase the rate at its next meeting, noting that the balance of risks has shifted further to proinflationary ones.

"Returning inflation to the target will require a significantly longer period of maintaining tight monetary conditions in the economy than it was forecast in April," the central bank noted.
