Two sides have held detailed talks, FT reports (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - New York, 26 Jul - Qatar Airways is close to clinching a deal to buy a stake in South Africa's largest regional airline Airlink, the Financial Times said, citing people familiar with the matter.

The two sides have held detailed talks about an investment from Qatar Airways, wholly owned by the Qatari government, although no final deal has yet been reached, the people told the FT.
