Ups FY net revenue organic growth guidance to 5-6% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Paris, 18 Jul - French advertising company Publicis said its second quarter net revenue rose a reported 6.8% and an organic 5.6% to 3.458 billion euros leading to a 5.9% growth in the first half when it reached 6.888 billion euros.

The stronger-than-expected performance in the second quarter reflects a solid performance across all regions, with the US up 5.3%, Europe 4.2%, and APAC 7.7%, with China accelerating to 10.5% growth.

Despite the persistent macro uncertainties, Public said it was upgrading its full year 2024 net revenue organic growth guidance to 5-6% compared with 4-5% previously.

Operating income jumped to 1.008 billion euros in the first half from 843 million a year earlier while net income was 773 million euros from 623 million. Headline diluted earnings per share rose 5.3% to 3.38 euros in the first half.
