754,303 EVs registered (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Oslo , 17 Sep - The number of electric vehicles (EVs) circulating on Norwegian roads has topped that of gasoline car models for the first time, according to data from the Road Traffic Information Council.

Of the 2.8 million individual vehicles currently registered in Norway, 754,303 are completely electric, just above the 753,905 cars that run on gasoline.

In August 2024, 94.3% of newly registered cars in Norway were 100% electric.
