Shares up 2.8% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - New York, 02 Jul - Nikola said it had delivered 72 Class 8 Nikola hydrogen fuel cell trucks to wholesalers in the second quarter, above its high end of truck sales guidance of 60 units.

Deliveries in the period were some 80% up on the 40 it delivered in previous three months, pointing to healthy demand for the big trucks.

Shares of the company rose 2.8% in early trading.
