Effective July 1 (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - London, 21 Jun - The UK advertising group M&C Saatchi said that Simon Fuller will join the company as chief financial officer and as a member of the board on July 1. The current CFO, Bruce Marson, will step down from the board on June 30 and will revert to the position of deputy chief financial officer.

Fuller has held several executive and senior management roles across a range of UK listed companies. His former positions include CFO of Reach and McColl's Retail Group. He has also held senior managerial roles in the finance functions of Tesco, BT Group and Colt Telecom. He qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2001.

The board thanked Marson for "the key role he has played in the transformation of M&C Saatchi" since he joined the company in October 2021, stepping up to CFO in March 2023.
