Effective July 8 (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - London, 04 Jul - The UK pub operator Marston's said that Kenneth (Ken) Lever has today been appointed as independent non-executive chair with effect from July 8.

Lever succeeds William Rucker who steps down from the board on the same date. He will also be appointed as chair of the nomination vommittee.

Lever is currently non-executive chair at Cirata, senior independent director at Rockwood Strategic and deputy chair of Rainier Developments.
