First megawatt-scale green hydrogen project in country (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milan , 10 Jul - The Tecnimont and Nextchem subsidiaries of Italian engineering company Maire announced that the first green hydrogen plant for Indian state-owned gas utility GAIL has been inaugurated at Vijaipur, Madhya Pradesh in India.

The facility will produce 4.3 tons per day of green hydrogen via 10 megawatt-based electrolysers, making GAIL the first company to start megawatt-scale operations for the production of green hydrogen in the country, Maire said.
