Italy sells 4.75 bln eur in short term, 10, 15-yr bonds

Yield on short term issue falls to 3.48% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Rome , 25 Jun - Italy's treasury sold a total of 4.75 billion euros in short term, ten and 15-year bonds in an auction.

In particular, it sold 2.5 billion euros in the ninth tranche of short term bonds coming due January 28, 2026 at a yield of 3.48%, down 0.03 percentage points from the previous auction.

The bid-to-cover ratio was 1.46.

The Italian treasury also sold 1 billion euros in the twentieth tranche of 10-year bonds indexed to the eurozone inflation rate and coming due May 15, 2030.

The yield was 1.68% and the bid-to-cover ratio 1.6.

Lastly, it sold 1.25 billion euros in the fourth tranche of 15-year bonds indexed to the eurozone inflation rate and maturing May 15, 2039. The yield was 2.26% and the bid-to-cover ratio 1.55.
