Italy sells 4.5 bln eur in reopened 6, 12-mth bond issues

6-mth yield 3.347%, 12-mth yield 3.247% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Rome , 28 Aug - Italy's treasury sold a total of 4.5 billion euros in reopened issues of six and 12-month bonds.

In particular, it sold 2 billion euros in the third tranche of six-month bonds coming due January 31, 2025, thus with a residual life of five months. The yield on the issue was 3.347% and the bid-to-cover ratio 1.73.

The Italian treasury also sold 2.5 billion euros in the third tranche of 12-month bonds coming due March 14, 2025, with a residual life of six months. The yield stood at 3.247% and the bid-to-cover ratio at 1.86.
