BSE Sensex rises 0.18% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Mumbai , 22 Aug - Indian shares closed higher, taking their cue from gains on Wall Street overnight after minutes from the July policy meeting of the Federal Reserve reinforced expectations of an imminent US rate cut.

The BSE Sensex closed up 0.18% at 81,053.19 points while the NSE Nifty added 0.17% to end the session at 24,811.50 points.
