Hong Kong shares close slightly higher; tech stocks rebound

Hang Seng up 0.09% at 18,089 points (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Hong Kong , 26 Jun - Hong Kong shares erased earlier losses and closed flat to slightly higher after yesterday's flat session, hovering near their lowest levels in almost two months.

The city's stocks tracked a tech-led rally on Wall Street overnight as Nvidia rebounded from yesterday's losses.

In Hong Kong stock market dealings technology stocks were higher, rebounding from a four-day drop as Beijing approved 104 new video games from mainland developers this month.

The Hang Seng Tech Index rose 0.94%.

Property shares were flat after rebounding yesterday from a three-day drop.

The Hang Seng Mainland Properties Index was up 0.14%.

Growth concerns continued to weigh on investor sentiment as data released in recent weeks pointed to an uneven economic recovery.

Trade tensions also continued to keep sentiment in check.

The Hang Seng index closed up 0.09% at 18,089 points.
