Cargo May traffic up 11.5% yr/yr (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - London, 11 Jun - The UK airport operator Heathrow said that in May a total of 7.176 million passengers traveled through the airport, up 6.7% from a year ago.

In the first five months of 2024, the number of passengers rose 7.9% to 32.400 million.

From June 2023 to May 2024 a total of 81.519 million passengers traveled through the airport, up 13.9% year on year.

Cargo traffic in the month rose an annual 11.5% to 125,307 tonnes. In the 12 months to May, it was 16.5% higher at 1,521,165 tonnes.
