Shares up more than 1% in premarket trading (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - New York, 14 Jun - Shares in GameStop were higher in premarket trading after meme stock investor Keith Gill indicated he had raised his stake in the videogame retailer.

In a post on Reddit, Gill, also known as 'Roaring Kitty', indicated he is now holding 9.001 million GameStop shares and more than 6 million dollars in cash.

On June 2, his portfolio indicated he had 5 million GameStop shares as well as 120,000 call options.

At 1302 GMT GameStop shares were up 1.1%.
