Varta shares plummet on debt restructuring deal (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milan , 19 Aug - Shares of Varta plummeted 47.21% to 2.16 euros in Frankfurt dealings after the troubled German battery producer said it reached a debt restructuring deal including a debt haircut and a capital reduction, followed by a capital increase.

In Milan, telecoms group Tim added 3.65% to 0.24 euros after the Finnish telecommunications equipment provider Nokia announced that it has been selected by Tim Brasil to expand its 5G radio access network coverage across 15 Brazilian states from January 2025.
