Spirit makers gain after China holds off on tariffs (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milan , 29 Aug - Shares in spirit makers were higher after China temporarily said it would hold back on plans to slap tariffs on brandy imported from the EU.

Shares in French spirit makers Remy Cointreau and Pernod Ricard were up by 6.58% and 4.24%, respectively, while in Milan shares of Italian peer Campari added 1.65%.

In Frankfurt, shares of online food takeaway group Delivery Hero rose by 1.90% after it reported a 7.4% increase in gross merchandise value (GMV), beating expectations.
