Recordati shares gain on deal talk (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milan , 18 Jun - In Milan trade, shares of pharmaceutical company Recordati were up 2.24% to 48.48 euros after a report on Bloomberg that private equity firms KKR and TPG, along with fellow Italian pharmaceutical group Angelini Pharma and at least one Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund had made expressions of interest for all or part of the controlling stake in Recordati owned by private equity group CVC.

Shares of luxury down jacket producer Moncler slipped by 3.04% to 57.36 euros after Oddo BHF cut its target price to 65 euros from 69.

In London trade, shares of UK industrial equipment rental company Ashtead fell by 4.03% to 5,288.00 pence after it forecast a slowdown in rental revenue growth this year.

In Paris, shares of the retailer Carrefour slumped 8.60% to 13.29 euros as tradeers pointed to French media reports the finance ministry was recommending a "record fine" against Carrefour for the management of its franchise network.
