UK housebuilders soar; Shell slips; Atos rallies (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milan, 05 Jul - UK housebuilders led the gains in the region as investors reacted to the Labour Party's landslide UK election victory.

The FTSE 350 household goods and home construction index jumped 2.95%.

Persimmon jumped 2.97%, Taylor Wimpey soared 3.12%, Barratt Developments surged 2.45% and Bellway rallied 1.80%.

Oil giant Shell dropped 0.81% in London after it announced it will take an impairment charge of up to 2 billion dollars after selling its Singapore refinery and pausing the construction of one of Europe's largest biofuel plants.

French tech company Atos rallied 3.28% after it said on Friday it had successfully secured short-term financing via two tranches of loans from creditors.
