Car makers continued to fall amid concerns for a tariff war with China.

In Paris, Renault lost 2.26% at 49.63 euros and in Frankfurt, Volkswagen shed 3.47% at 105.75 euros. While in Milan, Stellantis dropped following disappointing free cash flow guidance for the first half of this year.

Also in Milan, Tim gained 0.63% at 0.2242 euros as the telecommunications firm benefited from a brokerage upgrade.
