Europe shares end higher amid dovish Fed, UK elections -2-
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - London, 04 Jul - In the region's stock market dealings, shares of German tyre and auto component manufacturer Continental were up 9.54% at 59.04 euros in Frankfurt after it released guidance that eased concerns about its future profitability.
In Paris, shares of Pluxee, the employment benefit company spun off from the French catering giant Sodexo, were down 9.29% at 25.58 euros after the company reported lower-than-expected revenue growth in its fiscal third quarter.
Shares of Swedish telecommunication equipment supplier Ericsson dropped 1.21% at 65.22 Swedish crowns in Stockholm after it said that it will book a non-cash impairment charge of 11.4 billion crowns in the second quarter of 2024, primarily reflecting lower anticipated market growth rates in the portfolio of its US cloud communication subsidiary Vonage.
