FTSE up 0.12%; DAX up 0.53%; CAC 40 up 0.52% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - London, 21 Aug - European shares closed higher as markets await minutes from the Federal Reserve's latest policy meeting for clues to the central bank's future policy moves.

The London FTSE 100 closed up 0.12% at 8,283.43 points, the Frankfurt DAX added 0.53% at 18,451.24 points, the Paris CAC 40 gained 0.52% at 7,524.72 points, while in Milan the FTSE MIB rose 0.72% at 33,312.41 points, and in Madrid the IBEX 35 closed 0.19% higher at 11,108.33 points.
