Europe shares continue higher after recent losing streak -2-

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - London, 18 Jun - In European stock market dealings, shares of pharmaceutical company Recordati rose 2.07% at 48.40 euros after a report on Bloomberg that private equity firms KKR and TPG, along with fellow Italian pharmaceutical group Angelini Pharma and at least one Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund had made expressions of interest for all or part of the controlling stake in Recordati owned by private equity group CVC.

Also in Milan, shares of luxury down jacket producer Moncler slipped by 2.67% to 57.58 euros after Oddo BHF cut its target price to 65 euros from 69.

In Paris, shares of the retailer Carrefour slumped 4.26% to 13.92 euros as traders pointed to French media reports the finance ministry was recommending a "record fine" against Carrefour for the management of its franchise network.
