DNB Q2 net profit 10.8 bln Norwegian crowns, up 13.8%

CET1 ratio 19.0% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Oslo, 11 Jul - The Norwegian bank DNB said that in the second quarter its net profit rose 13.8% year on year to 10.8 billion crowns.

DNB's net interest income totalled 15.8 billion crowns, up 1.9%. Meanwhile, income from other customer activities than lending and deposits rose 22.0% to 3.4 billion crowns.

Pretax operating profit before impairment amounted to 14.1 billion crowns from 13.1 billion.

The common equity tier one capital ratio was 19.0% against 18.9% a year earlier.
