Sees 190 mln eur/yr in savings in Germany (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Berlin, 25 Jun - Germany high-tech polymer materials manufacturer Covestro said it is launching its transformation program Strong that its expected to generate annual global savings of 400 million euros in material and personnel costs, of which 190 million euros in Germany, by end 2028.

Initial cost savings as part of Strong have already been initiated, it said. Covestro added that it is driving forward the use of artificial intelligence to continue increasing efficiency and productivity in the future.
