Shanghai Composite up 0.20%, Shenzhen CSI 300 adds 0.42% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Shanghai , 23 Aug - Chinese share prices ended higher ahead of the People's Bank of China monetary policy decision later in the day on the medium-term lending facility.

Gains were led by insurance stocks, as the Shanghai Composite added 0.20% to close at 2,854.37 points and the Shenzhen CSI 300 rose 0.42% to 3,327.19 points.
