Shanghai Composite falls 0.27% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Shanghai , 22 Aug - Chinese share prices ended lower, with software shares leading the retreat.

Investors are looking ahead to the Chinese central bank's decision on Monday on the medium-term lending facility after it kept benchmark lending rates unchanged this week.

The Shanghai Composite fell 0.27% to end the session at 2,848.77 points while the Shenzhen CSI 300 shed 0.26% to 3,313.14 points.
