Earnings beat forecast (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - New York, 26 Jul - US cable company Charter Communications said its net profit in the second quarter was 1.231 billion dollars, or 8.49 dollars per diluted share, compared to 1.223 billion, or 8.05 dollars per diluted share, in the same period a year ago.

Analysts had expected EPS of 7.98 dollars.

Revenue in the quarter ending June 30 rose slightly to 13.685 billion dollars from 13.659 billion the previous year.

Second quarter net cash flows from operating activities totaled 3.9 billion dollars compared to 3.3 billion the prior year.
