Successor to be named 'in due course' (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Paris , 06 Jun - French fashion house Chanel announced that artistic director Virginie Viard is leaving the company after five years in the position.

Viard took on the position following Karl Lagerfield's death in 2019 after having worked with him at the company for decades.

Chanel said a successor would be named "in due course." It added that its haute couture collection for summer 2024 will be presented as planned at a runway show slated for June 25.
