Sold stake via accelerated bookbuilding (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Madrid, 11 Jun - CriteriaCaixa, the holding company that manages the assets owned by the foundation that controls Spanish lender CaixaBank, said it has sold a 2.6% stake in Spanish broadcasting tower operator Cellnex for 612.9 million euros.

CriteriaCaixa sold 18.6 million Cellnext shares at a price of 32.91 euros each, a discount of about 2% compared to the closing price yesterday of 33.58 euros, ahead of the announcement of the stake sale.

Shares were sold through an accelerated bookbuilding process with qualified investors.

CriteriaCaixa said it now holds only enough Cellnex shares needed to satisfy eventual obligations tied to Cellnex convertible bonds.
