Crude oil futures up 24 cents at 83.97 usd/barrel (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - London, 17 Jul - Brent futures were moderately higher, halting this week's selloff and hovering just below 84 dollars a barrel.

At 1047 GMT, crude oil futures were up 24 cents at 83.97 dollars a barrel.
